Installation documenting the first stages of research and prototyping done at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 2003 - 2005. In regards tobioArt and the technologies used, the installation served to explain lab methods as new tools for the emerging art field. (2007)
Facilitated as instructor of the Center for BioMedia, with the STEP program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Creative components were added to the traditional science class. Interested teens, from the Troy Unified School District, participated in activities for 2 weeks. (2007)
Workshop participants learn the fundamentals of animal anatomy, dissection and culturing that are used to investigate specimens. Workshops are held in an open forum setting with orientation to the history of artistic practice in the scientific field.
The Lawn Chair sculpture was exhibited with Carnivorous Contraptions in an enclosed living room which was created with Denise King at the Exploratorium Art & Science Museum of San Francisco, CA. The installation was part of a group show, Chlorophilia, curated by Phil Ross. (2002)
